Pick your race and decide how fast and how far you want to run.  This is my second blog in year 2011.  May I take this moment to wish everyone a good run.

This morning, I was inspired by the movie ‘Secretariat’ and could not resist to pen down my thought.  I started the movie late last night.  I did not expect it to be such an inspiring movie for me.  It was very late last night or you may term it early this morning.  I wanted to go to sleep.  But it was so good that I could not stop watching.  However, I did leave the last best part this morning with my coffee.

Big Red has inspired me to move forward with my ambition, my dream.  Pick it, run it and no looking back.  Do your best.  Run your own race and not others.

We step into a new decade.  to be honest, I did not realise we cross into the next decade till i am in it.  Does this not sound familiar?  We often step into another life experience before we realise we are in it.

I have a good start to this new decade and am positive it is going to be better than the last.  There was certain course of action that I have to take to actually live the new decade.

In this new decade, I have plan to make something happened.  I will share when i reach there.  It might take a while though.

Does a truly creative person need to go to school to learn to design?  So many people out there called themselves designers, artists or some nouns that associate them with the creative world.  Are these people contributing to the society with their originality or simply piggy-back on someone else’s work to try to make something to call their own?

So much work out there are inspired and not created.  Maybe, no one is creative enough to have his or her own work.  Or everything that can be termed a form of design has been created.

You have to go to school to attain your qualification to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, architect and other professions.  Do you need a qualification to be a designer?

A year has gone by, Mfoliage’s official launch was a year ago today. During the last year, events, experiences and just life have set foot prints in our lives. We laughed, we cried and we shouted for joy. Through the tears of joy, happiness, laughter, broken hearts and peace, we have come this far to set up Mfoliage at K.I.N., 51 Haji Lane, Singapore.

I was in Hong Kong couple of weeks ago.  It was an extended business trip to see some close friends.  The few chances that I have just walking on the streets with no agenda was refreshing for a change.  It was amazing how much things you got to see and feel when your mind was clear and open.

I was very happy to be able to catch up with a few close friends, spending some quality and meaningful time with people that had made a mark in your life.  It showed me another aspect to life.

Each time, I learn to receive the goodness of the universe, I realise I am in for a good ride.

Creativity comes from living. And where does inspiration come from? Living!!! Don’t be afraid to live. Don’t be safe.

If you are in Singapore, you must know of the Marina Bay Sands’ Skypark. It was officially opened on June 23 2010. Have you been up there? I had the opportunity to enjoy the work of a very close friend that spent almost all his waking hours to put the whole experience together. It was awesome!!!

I was there with three other friends. We were told to schedule our time up there very carefully, so as to enjoy a bit of sun, view the sunset and then the night view. It was dope!

The palm trees were very beautifully lined against the very blue sky. The tiles of the infinity pool created iridescent effect against the light.  And the white deck chair….. my favourite! Love the wood too!!!

An architecture unfolds to many layers.  So does a product.  Strip the layer.  I am getting sexy here.  This is how I like you to enjoy my products.  Feel it. Feel sexy.  Feel loved.

I love the sun and the outdoor.  Some of my close friends are aware I am going through some turmoils in my life.  Being out in the sun helps me to put my perspective in place.  If you are experiencing some life issues, try getting out there.  It will do you much good. Don’t forget the sunscreen though and time your exposure to prevent being burned.

A very close friend asked what course of thought process I put myself through to take a certain action in my life.  My reply was I feel, there was no thought process.  I live my life and create Mfoliage’s range of products with a deep sense of being.  I feel for life.  I feel to live.
